Grand Cappadocia Holiday Package
DAY 1: Ankara
The tour starts from the hotel or airport in Ankara. The first stop is the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the resting place of the founder of modern Turkey, who was responsible for revolutionizing the country and who is still considered as a great national hero. After a lunch break in the Ankara Castle, we will visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum, where we can see the masterpieces of 16 different Anatolian Civilizations. After visiting the Anatolian Civilization Museum, we will drive to Cappadocia.
Overnight: Cappadocia.
DAY 2: Goreme, Avanos and Uchisar
Meet the guide and driver in the hotel, and start discovering Cappadocia`s unique landscape; first stop is the highlight of the Cappadocian Region,the Goreme Open Air Museum where we will witness the living art of Christian and Byzantine history in cave churches. Then we will drive to Cavusin, an old Greek village to discover the civil architecture of Cappadocia. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Avanos that has been the centre of terra-cotta art since 2000 BC. After lunch we drive to Pasabagi or ‘Monks Valley’ to see the fascinating mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Then we drive to Devrent (Imagination Valley) to see different shapes of fairy-chimneys. Before returning to the hotel we will visit the natural rock castle at Uchisar.

DAY 3: Hot air Balloon, Urgup, Ortahisar and Turkish Bath
After a Hot Air Balloon tour over Cappadocia early in the morning, take a rest at the hotel for a few hours. Around midday, we will leave the hotel and wander on the old streets and centre of Urgup and have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we will visit the small village of Ortahisar to observe the daily life of locals here. At the end of the day we will enjoy a relaxing Turkish bath (Hamam) in Urgup.

DAY 4: Derinkuyu, Ihlara Valley, Agzikarahan and Kayseri
Depart from your hotel for the Derinkuyu Underground city to visit the huge refugee settlement carved by early Christians. From Derinkuyu we will head on to the gorgeous Ihlara Valley, anciently known as Peristerema. Later we will explore the "Valley of Sky" along the Melendiz River. Explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike 4km through the valley...On our way back we will visit the Caravanserai of Agzikarahan, a fine example of the Seljuk Turks art, built in the early 13th century on the Silk Road for traders stopping over to spend the night and rest. Then we will transfer you back to Kayseri Airport for an evening flight to Istanbul.
